Spottedstar's journey

Spottedstar woke up with a start,gasping for air,eyes wide with fear.She was waking up like this every morning.She sighed and walked up to find her deputy.She saw him talking to Twigstep."Good morning Twigstep,Firefang I need to see you"

Firefang followed her and asked."What is it?"

"I'm going to the moonstoneYou are in charge of the camp."She told him.

Twigstep came. "He's in charge? Good job, Firefang!" Twigstep praised. He listened for any other announcements that SpottedStar might make.

Spottedstar walked out of camp. She ran, the wind brushing through her fur.She made her way and skidded the scent-markers going into windclan territory.

Firefang looked at Spottedstar as she left.Last time she left the camp was attacked."Pinespirit!"He called."You Shadowblaze and Lionsong go on patrol."He told her."Frostmoon,Twigstep!"Go hunting!"He ordered.

Spottedstar ran across windclan and stopped at the thunderpath.When all was quiet she stepped out of the bush she was hiding in and ran for it.She jumped and landed in front of the cave to the moonstone.Taking a deep breath she walked in and followed scent trails that traveled back from generations.

Shadowblaze nodded and ran to Pinespirit."Come on!"She said cheerfully."Your leading us."

Lionsong followed behind his sister.He never got noticed, so why bother talking?He let out a sigh and stretched.

Frostmoon ran up to Twigstep.They looked very simalar if your comparing their black pelts and blue eyes.She ran out of camp, hoping Twigstep was following and followed the first prey scent she found.Squierell.

Pinespirit smiled, walking out of camp. She breathed in through her mouth for any other cats. Nope. She continued walking.

Twigstep cheered. He followed Frostmoon. He tasted squirrel in the air. Twigstep was ready. Once he spotted the squirrel, he crouched, stalked, then pounced, showing the squirrel his fangs and then killing it, showing off his skills to Frostmoon.

Spottedstar made her way through the cave to the moonstone.It glowed buitefully into the dark cave.She touched noses with it and fell asleep.She woke in a dream.She was at four trees."Hello?"She called.Rapidfang stepped into the clearing.She saw his deep dark blue eyes and smiled.

Rapidfang stepped up to Spottedstar and nuzled her.A soft wind came and ruffled his black pelt.he smiled at her and said,"Spottedstar, the propecy has hope." Hesaid the prophecy."Beware of the ones who are different, the ones who seems to always hear, they watch you at all times, they know your fear!"He saw Spottedstar shiver and he told her."The ones who are troubled day and night will help you win this fight.They come from different clans, the four of them.They will arise when the time comes."Then he dissapeared.


Spottedstar woke back up annoyed.She was happy that she got to se Rapidfang again, yes, but why do starclan only speak of riddles and rhymes?Spottedstar sighed and walked up to see the exit of the cave.

Frostmoon was impressed that Twigstep beat her to the furry creature.She heard a magpie tweet in the distance.It's white,black,and blue feathers twitched in the wind.Thankfully downwind.She crouched up and sprang at it.She bit it and flung it to the ground, making it squeek then grow silent.She smiled and picked it up and walked triumphantly towards Twigstep.That is, untill she tripped.

Shadowblaze followed Pinespirit and marked her territory, while also looking for invaders.She breathed in air.Then followed Pinespirit again.

Lionsomg unhappily followed.He was always unhappy.He saw Shadowblaze sniff the air and rolled his eyes.They probably wouldn't even notice if he sliped away.He thought sadly.

Pinespirit looked around. She growled for a second then noticed it was only the hunting party. "Please excuse the cats over there." Pinespirit giggled.

Twigstep giggled when Frostmoon fell. She did good with the magpie. Twigstep nudged her up. "That was good." Twigstep praised. "You need to keep a sharp eye at your surroundings, though." He laughed.

Spottedstar made her way back home.She knew the one in Thunderclan, but who else?The ones in River,Shadow,and Wind?She sighed as she entered her territory.

Frostmoon laughed.She was sometimes carefree.She shookher head and a smell drifted towards her."Spottedstar?"She looked at Twigstep and smiled."Come on!"

Shadowblaze laughed."It's always good to be catious."She told her, shaking her head.

Lionblaze laughed out loud,shocking himself.He couldn't remember the last time he laughed.It felt good.

Pinespirit looked at Lionsong. "I have NEVER heard you laugh." Pinespirit said. "Oh! Wait up, Shadowblaze!" She said, running towards her to catch up.

Twigstep ran with Frostmoon. "Where are we going?" Twigstep thought. He shook the thought out of his head and continued along with Frostmoon. "Maybe just to see SpottedStar." He thought again.

Spottedstar looked at Frostmoon and Twigstep and nodded.

Frostmoon sighed in releif when she saw her mom was ok.She rushed over to her."Any good news on the prophecy?"She asked.
Spottedstar nodded."I must discuss it with Twigstep and Bluetalon."

Shadowblaze stared at Lionsong, shocked.He was smiling.Actually smiling.Then Shadowblaze smiled teasingly and said."Lionsong.After your done flirting can you catch up?"She laughed inside at her brother's reatction.

Lionsong smiled at Pinespirit then ducked his head embaressed after what Shadowblaze said.Was he flirting?He asked.He hurridly caught up and went silent.

Pinespirit hadn't heard Shadowblaze's remark.

Twigstep smiled. "Prophecies." He thought. "When?" Twigstep asked.

Spottedstar looked at Twigstep.They were hunting."Gather your kill and meet me in my den with Bluetalon, Twigstep."She told him, walking in camp.

Frostmoon sighed and nodded her head.She picked up her magpie and put it in the freshkill pile.

Shadowblaze looked at her brother."I didn't mean to make you sad with my remark."She told him."I guess you never really smiled or laughed before so I had to say something."She told him.

Lionsong nodded.He understood.He walked past Shadowblaze and towards camp.They were back from patrol.He headed back into camp and into the warrior's den.He sighed and layed down.This was usual for him.

Twigstep carried the squirrel to the fresh-kill pile and padded to his leader's den. He saw Spottedstar, ready for her explaination.

Pinespirit was finished patrolling. She looked for her brother. She gave up on the search after 20 mins. Pinespirit noticed that Lionsong was laying in the warriors den as always. Pinespirit lay in her spot, watching him.

Spottedstar looked at the two med cats."Bluetalon, I know you are now a elder, but you still may be able to help."She told the old tom.She spoke."The original prophecy,"Beware of the ones who are different, the ones who seems to always hear, they watch you at all times, they know your fear."This made no sense already.We have a new one that leads to it as well."She told them both."The ones who are troubled day and night will help you win this fight.They come from different clans, the four of them.They will arise when the time comes."She told them."I beleive I already know the one that comes from Thunderclan.But she may never know.For if she does we may all be doomed."She warned them."Understand?"

Frostmoon looked at the magpie and gave up.She grabbedit and began chewingthe bird.She loved magpie's.They were her favorite prey.She thanked starclan for the meal and went to circle her nest with it's feathers.

Shadowblaze sighed and left for sunningrocks.She always went to her seceret place when she was troubled.She made her way to the rock where she squeezed in,made her way through the hole and out to the little cooling poole where she went to her nest and slept.

He rolled over and felt someone watching him.Helooked up to see Pinespirit.He feltembaressed for a secong and watched her.He never spoke much.

"Hey." Pinespirit sighed. She smiled slightly.

Twigstep's first prophecy meeting. (whatever its called) He hadn't understood half of what she said. But Twigstep nodded and said, "I understand."

Lionsong looked at Pinespirit ans smiled a little."Hi."He said.

Spottedstar looked at both of the toms."You cannot tell Pinespirit she is the cat for thunderclan."She told them.Bluetalon didn't look shocked at all."The other three cats are a mystery."She sighed.

Shadowblaze woke up in her dream and ran to her dad."Hi."She said.

Rapidfang smiled."Do you want another story?Or advice this time?"He luaghed while asking the quetion.

Twigstep was suprized. "MY SISTER-" He started. Then he lowered his voice. "My sister is- chosen? What a big thing for her." He said.

Pinespirit lay down in her spot, nervous to go any closer. She smiled back to Lionsong She fell asleep instantly. Still having Lionsong stuck in her mind. Pinespirt sighed.

Sopttedstar nodded."yes.It is.but first we need to know what the first prophecy means."

Lionsong fell asleep with a smile on his face.

Shadowblaze smiled."A story."She said."About something."

Rapidfang sighed."Once, when your mom was a apprentice, her mentor's name was Twigfoot.We were at war with shadowclan.Back then, Mysticstar was in charge."Her deputy, Shadowears attacked us.And killed Brambleheart and Icetail, your mom's adopted parents.Of course you mom was outraged."e said.Living back in the memory.

Flashback:(He is still telling the story)
Rapidpaw looked around him gasping for air.Shadowclan was everywhere and all was in rage.His leader, Shiverstar, attacked Mysticstar.He looked around for Spottedpaw.He found her looking in horror.He looked at what she was watching.Shadowears.He bit into Icetail's neck.Brambleheart raced towards him and shadowears fklung her against a rock.Her head hit it and she stopped breathing.Spottedpaw jumped at him and raced towards her.Spottedpaw was clawing at him pretty good and there seemed to be something different about her in that anger.Shadowears was rushing Spottedpaw when he rolled over and then.

Present:
Shadowblaze looked at her father in awe."Then what happened?"

Rapidfang smiled."Then Shiverstar killed Mysticstar and the war was over."

Pinespirit woke up to the sound of talking. Spottedstar was talking to Twigstep about something.

"The prophecy could mean...." Twigstep started, thinking. "The ones who are troubled day and night will help us win the fight. After that, you said that Pinespirit was one of the cats. That means the chosen ones were troubled day and night? It makes no sense." Twigstep said his thoughts outloud.

Spottedstar looked at him."Is your sister troubled by something?"She asked

Bluetalon looked at Spottedstar."Beware of the ones who are different, the ones who seems to always hear, they watch you at all times, they know your fear."He repeated the saying over."Who is different?"He asked himeself.Then snapped his head towards Spottedstar."Spottedstar the only thing i can think of is the wolves!""Wolves have good hearing and i notice their smell at gatherings and warfeilds!And of course we are afraid of hem!"He told her.

Shadowblaze smiled."Well that was a good story."She said rolling over.She already felt better.

Rapidfang laughed."I believe it is time for you to go."He said, dissapearing.

Pinespirit didn't understand. She walked away, thinking.

"Cant be. Cats fight the wolves all the time. That'd just be weird to-to repeat that." Twigstep suggested. "Maybe its a clan cat we all fear." He said.

Spottedstar looked at him."Well, wolves would just kill us all."She told him.
