Wildstar walked out of her den to say hi to her deputy.She had a determinned expression on her face."Hello Rustclaw."

"Good morning Wildstar."Rustclaw said with a nod"You seem happy today."He said flicking his tail at her happy expression.

Wildstar's mood quickly shifted."I'm going on patrol."Before he asked, she added"Alone."Then she walked to the camp entrance.The last saw of her was the uneasy,yet exited flick of her tail.Rustclaw can take care of the camp.No, Ruststar can.Wildstar thought as she left.

He looked uncertainly as he watched her leave sensing her lie quickly."ok then..." He said as he turned around.

Heisintly she left the camp.She finally made her way to the Thunderpath.A monster roared past her, the wind ruffled her fur. She heard another in the distance.She walked and stood there still roght in the middle of the Thunderpath.She heard a screech and shut her eyes tightly.Pain shot through her. She heard a feline yell, then lay unconcience.

Spottedstar was patrolling the border, when she heard a monster screech she looked up to see it slam into a cat."Wildstar!"Spottedstar shouted."Wildstar!Wildstar!" she kept yelling her name.She cursed under her breath and catiously crossed the road and took Wildstar by the scruff.This might be dangerous.Thought Spottedstar.She thought.Nothing seemed broken.She dragged her towards camp.She brought her in the medicine cat's den and the cat looked at her, clearly in shock.Spottedstar was panting hard.The medicine cat got to work, mumbling to herself.The Wildstar shook and opened her eyes.....

Wildstar opened her eyes.But instead of the starry sky she was ina medicine cat's den.Thunderclan?She sniffed around.She cursed loudly and jumped up.Spottedstar was staring at her curiously, like this is what she wanted.Wildstar cursed again and shouted at the cat."Idiot!Why did you save me?Cant you tell when a cat wants to die?!"

Spottedstar sat up and bristled her fur."I can tell when a cat goes suicideal!"She yelled."But you mustnot be the elfish,yellow-belly cat you are and lead your caln through desperate times!"She was shouting alot by now going on and on until she heard a sigh.

"Your right."Wildstar said with a sigh.Spottedstar looked up in surprise of her quick defeat."Swiftpelt would not want me to give up quickly to death."She sat up to leave."I will wait for death after my nine lives are over."She started to walk out when a smile came upon the Thunderclan leader's face.

"You dont have nine lives anymore Wildstar.You have eight."Spottedstar said in a grave tone.Wildstar smiled this time.a rare smile.And then she left.Just like that.Left to go find her clan.Spottedstar nodded her head in approval smiled."When she goes up to starclan, welcome her in peace ma."Then she turned around and left.

Wildstar made a dash to the exit way and heard Spottedstar come out of the medicine cat's den and make her way to hers.They trust me?Thought Wildstar in surprise.She didn't want to burn down tht trust so she did not hunt, even though she was very hungry.She thought she had seen Swiftpelt smiling at her when she got knocked unconcience by the monster.She made her way to the Thunderpath and passed quickly this time, then wandered into her territory, when she saw Rustclaw looking around.

Releif soared in Rustclaw's heart when he saw her coming."Wildstar!Where were you?The clan got really upset and...."He stopped.Thunderclan scent was on her.It all made sense now.He heard her mumbling in her sleep about jumping in front of monsters.[/i] She did it.He thought, shocked.Then,he went on, Thnderclan must have saw her and helped her.[i]Gratitude flooded over him.He asked no more questions about His leaders crazy quest and left,following his leader home.

With a sigh,wildstar went bak home.Then started to run, hurridly coming back to protect her clan.Spottedstar said through these dark times.What did she mean?Wildstar thought in confusion.

Pinekit saw it all. She saw that WildStar lay unconcious in the Medicine Cat's den. WildStar woke up with a start. She started cursing. Her mom covered her ears.

"Back in, Pinekit." LeafHeart said, walking back into the nursery.

Pinekit sighed and walked back in with her mother.
